Is the Furniture More Important Than Your BODY?

In the 1990’s OSHA was holding meetings on Ergonomic Injuries.  They were held in many parts of the country.   I attended a session in San Francisco to ask why they did not address the Body as part of the equation to curb the epidemic of RSI disorders?  I was told by the committee that OSHA did not address the Body and did not see it as part of the solution.

Ergonomics has blossomed into a multi-billion dollar industry.  As has carpal tunnel surgery continues to increase and is over a 7.4 billion dollar industry for the medical profession.  Surgery is not a solution as the symptoms come back when you don’t address the cause and look at the body as a whole, not as a piece.  99% of all CTS surgeries are unnecessary and are not CTS. Musculoskeletal Health should be at the forefront to stop this still rising epidemic that will never go away.
